CALENDAR
Dec 15: members meeting and reception for "Through Young Eyes" K-12 Cape-Wide student Art Show. Members will decide at Nov meeting if the want to hold meeting the regular time OR hold the meeting at 4:30 OR forego the meeting and just attend the reception.
Jan 19: we're on Facebook! Tom Noonan to demo the ease, convenience and benefits of connecting through electronic social media! (Your students can help you!) If members would like to meet at Barnstable High or another venue and use computers to log on and navigate, it can be arranged.
Feb 16: off site visit to a school, museum or gallery TBD. Any ideas or schools willing to volunteer?
March 15: Report from NYC!! members attending NEAE Convention share experiences and show pix (those members now using Facebook per our January demo can upload images!) Last year Jan Olson provided an uplifting ,musical number! Get those cameras out and take some video, too!!
April 27: (due to April vaca the week of 4/16) "The Younger Generation!" Art Educators teaching since 2005 speak out! (The rest of us can too, and usually do!) Please reach out to the newer members of our profession and let's them to join us for this meeting (members or not)
May 17: (Reception for Mentors/Art Internship) pre-reception members meeting TBD
June 21: Beach gathering at Mayflower Beach in Dennis (5 pm) as there is Parking fee prior to that. In case of rain we will convene at Chapins restaurant adjacent to the beach parking lot. Toast to another year!!!
Summer: Plans for our second annual "en plein air" painting and creating. Where should we meet this time?
