| We had a great time and felt this to be such a productive and inspiring experience. We shared techniques and supplies, laughs, gorgeous views and the camaraderie of fellow artist/educators. Many visitors to the Monument stopped to talk to us along with their children. Great visibility and an informal way to advocate for the arts. Art teachers demonstrating they are practicing what they preach and illustrating that those who can, teach! Members who participated in the "plein air" experience should send photos taken to be posted on our site along with photos of art. Discussions evolved and we are thinking about an (informal?) exhibition of the work created if anyone has incentive or a venue... The "21 in Truro" show their work annually so why can't we? |
